A wardrobe needs room. Along the route too.
Width is not the only factor in moving a wardrobe. Height, depth, stability and long side panels determine whether it can pass through the apartment, lift and stairs.

- Compare the longest side panel with the door height and stair landing.
- Measure the lift door and usable cabin separately.
- Show any loose back panel, glass elements or already damaged joints in photos.

Dismantled, packed or in one piece?
Remove shelves and loose drawers; label and pack fittings. Whether dismantling makes sense depends on the furniture’s condition. An old carcass may be fragile when taken apart again.
Coordinated carrying helps with long side panels. B means driver plus your assistance. If you cannot carry, choose advice so staffing needs can be checked.
Wall beds with springs or folding mechanisms need separate review. Do not release unfamiliar tensioned components. Assembly, wall fixing and dismantling are not automatically included. Pianos, safes, very heavy machines and external lifts always need individual review. You may still submit a request.
Your questions about the item.
Should I dismantle my wardrobe beforehand?
Describe the model, condition and access first. Dismantled parts are often easier to handle; delicate joints or special fittings may make unplanned dismantling inadvisable.
Do you also transport wall beds?
Wall beds require individual assessment because of mechanisms, fixings and weight. Send model details and photos before loosening anything.
Is reassembly included in transport?
No. Assembly and wall fixing must be clarified separately. The quote must explicitly state the additional services agreed.
